The task is taken from a British Deaf Association (BDA) AGM: ‘Please can we have our old BDA Magazine back’?

The BDA Magazine has been published for over 100 years and recently stopped the publication of the printed magazine – and became online instead.
In other countries, you can use a national magazine, as an example. Or: one or several of the business ideas that the group has come up with.

The trainers split the participants into 2 groups.

The 2 groups discuss and create a business plan together, to present to the trainers.

The presentation will be in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ type of selling situation.

The trainers will assess the presentations and will decide if they will invest in either of the business plans.

NB: Dragons' Den is a reality television program format in which entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists in the hope of securing investment finance from them. Local versions of the show have been produced in nearly 30 countries.
